Simple Cake Pop Recipe

Ingredients:

Cake Mix or Cake Crumbs (14 ounces)
Cake Frosting 1/4
8 ounce Candy Melts
Cake pop sticks
Toppings if desired (sprinkles/nuts/coconut flakes)
Lolipop sticks

 

Instructions:
  • Add cake to a large bowl and crumble into fine crumbs
  • Add in half a cup of frosting and use a wooden spoon or hands to mix it.
  • Roll the cake into balls and place on parchment paper
  • Put the rolled balls into refrigerator for 20 mins
  • Melt 2-4 ounces of candy melts in the microwave.
  • Once the candy melts have been melted and the balls have been chilled dip half an inch of lollipop stick in melted chocolate and stick half way through cake ball
  • Place cake pops in freezer for another 20 mins
  • Remove cake balls from freezer.
  • Dip cake balls carefully into melted chocolate until the entire cake ball is covered.
  • Let the excess chocolate drip off.
  • Stick the cake pops in a piece of styrofoam.
  • Top the cake pops with sprinkles
